Arenberg Auctions is the leading auction house in Belgium for old and rare books, old manuscripts, drawings, prints, atlases, maps and photographs.
We are located in one of the most beautiful quarters of the city, in the Rue aux Laines (« Wool Street ») in Brussels, just next to the Egmont Palace, which used to belong to the Arenberg family. In close proximity of the Sablon and the Avenue Louise, you can find numerous antiquarians, terraces and restaurants, all within walking distance of the Royal Library and the splendid museums next to the King’s Square (Koningsplein)
We are easily accessible by public transport and are a fifteen-minute walk away from Brussels-Central. There are numerous parking spaces in the underground parking beneath Poelaert Square, in front of the Palace of Justice.
Arenberg Auctions is the result of a merger in 2018 between two Belgian auction houses: Henri Godts and The Romantic Agony. Since then, we’ve grown to be an international player with an excellent reputation among collectors and merchants, libraries and museums.
We hope to welcome you at our auctions and viewing days, and for estimations and expertise, exhibitions and lectures.
