Our experts will gladly offer you a free and non-binding estimation of your valuables or collection. We’ll gladly meet at our Brussels address or meet at your premises, by appointment.
You can use our form below to contact us quickly and easily and add photographs if possible. You can also contact us using info@arenbergauctions.com
You will receive a consignment form of the items (listing them one by one) that you entrust to us to be put on auction. From this moment on, the items are covered by insurance, to the amount of their estimation, and at the expense of the auction house.
When an item is sold, a commission fee of 15% of the hammer price is charged (incl. all costs: description, insurance, storage, photography, VAT, …).
We maintain a commission of 20% for pieces that are auctioned at € 250 or less.
No commission fee is charged when an item remains unsold. We’ll estimate whether the lot can be presented during a later auction, live or ‘online only’.
You can also recollect your lot, if desired, at our offices.
The net result is paid out to the depositor / seller between 6 and 10 weeks after the auction, and insofar as the buyer has settled his account. The payment can be made cash, up to a maximum amount of € 3.000,00 or by bank transfer to your bank account.
In application of the law against money laundering and the funding of terrorism, we as auctioneers are lawfully bound to ask you for a copy of your identity card. This without fiscal consequences for you as a seller and taking into account the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the deontological code of the Royal Belgian-Luxembourg Chamber of Auction Houses.
